Lagoa is located in the southeast of the Algarve, next to Portimao, Sagres, and Lagos amongst other localities. You can arrive by car, train or airplane, three ideal means of transportation even if the nearest airport is in Faro, and the nearest train station in Portimao.

By Airplane

To arrive in Lagoa by airplane, you must know that Faro International Airport is the nearest one. The main european airlines operate out of this airport.

By Train

The nearest train station in Lagoa is found in Portimao, at only about 10 minutes by car from Lagoa.

Highway

Travelling to Lagoa by car is the most common way to arrive in this municipality. If you are coming from the north of Spain, you must know that going through Madrid you must take the Nacional 5, or the Carretera de Extremadura. You´ll arrive onto the A-6 and follow the signs to Setúbal, where you´ll take the Nacional 2, direction SUR, taking the IP-1 and then the Nacional 269 to Lagoa. If you are coming from the center of Spain, from Madrid you´ll take the Nacional IV to Sevilla, where you will take the E-1 to Portugal, Algarve, turning into the A22 of Portugal. This will bring you to the surrounding towns in the interior of Vila Real de Santo Antonio, through Tavira, Faro, Loulé, and from there take Salida (exit) 15 direction Portimao-Lagos-Lagoa, you will arrive at your destination.
